We ordered ribeye kabobs plate with a side of salad and humus (so good with peanut oil topping, I think), and ground beef kabob wrap (forgot the name) with side salad. “ I very much enjoyed my meals from Petra. I ordered and ate a Gyro sandwich in the restaraunt and also ordered a couple orders of Chicken Shawarma plates to-go. There was a bit of a language barrier with the waitstaff, but they seemed friendly enough and eager to provide good service to customers. Parking in front of the restaraunt is scarce, however, there seems to be more parking behind the restaraunt/building. I'm curious who the man in the shrine indoors is (see photos). He seems to be held in high regard among the owners/staff. ”

“ Decided to try out the Mediterranean food & grocery at Petra tonight after a late meeting and was very pleased. My partner is Israeli-American and he left a very happy guy. The service was timely with the young lady frequently checking on us. We dined outside on the patio which was pleasant & the food was delicious. I have eaten at many Mediterranean and Greek restaurants/festivals over the years and I would rate this in my top 5 easily. Conveniently located near the hospital and right on one of the main highways. I would also recommend checking out the grocery area they have and you CAN'T forget the Baklava. ”

The fries were crunchy and were home made. Bathrooms were clean, and looked like my maw maw had been there- she loves to reuse grocery store bags for trash can liners. It’s a nostalgic thing to see. And honestly, a great way to recycle. They sell different items such as rose water, sumac, pita, leaves. There’s a reason it has over 1000 reviews and an average of 4.7. This is a great local restaurant to add to your list. Good food, friendly service and an authentic experience. ”

Tonight we had the hot Lebanese tea, Laziza Drink Raspberry Malt Non Alcoholic, mango juice, Baba Ghanouj-appetizer, lamb shawarma, chicken pita with home made fries and cheese burger with home made fries. All fresh and made to order. 20/10 definitely recommend. The atmosphere is welcoming, refreshing, the food is always top tier, not to mention they have a little grocery store where they sell spices, teas, beans, chickpeas,etc.. along with the Turkish tea pots, Turkish glasses etc.. ”
